The Minority Rights Resource Center is a dedicated hub for addressing the issues faced by ethnic minorities in Iran, including Baluchis, Kurds, Azerbaijani Turks, and others. Ethnic minorities in Iran consistently score poorly on social, economic, and political rights indicators, including unemployment, educational attainment, and rates of child marriage.
Change will only come when these communities are placed at the center of human rights promotion efforts. That’s why the Minority Rights Resource Centre provides capacity-building and support to organizations and human rights defenders situated in these communities around policy advocacy, research, media engagement, and digital security.
