Ofogh, which means horizon in Persian, aims to increase respect for the rights of women. Currently, Ofohg’s core effort is to address the violence against women abd girls perpetuated by both cultural norms and the legal systems in Iran. The project advocates for policy reforms and provides support services to survivors of violence. Ofogh utilizes international best practices, adopting a regional approach to create meaningful change. We work with several communities in Iran, including Baluchis, Kurds, Azerbaijani Turks, and Arabs.
